O.M.G. This whole crew - Brian, Cheryl, Craig and Johnny - saved my a$$ this week. My car, which has 186,000 miles on it, had what everyone thought/hoped would be a broken fan. After a long stream of fixes this spring, I had decided I would fix anything up to $400 and if it was over that, it was time to break up with my car. Long story short, I think Brian was as disappointed as I was when he discovered that it was a waterpump, a timing belt, and the thermostat. When I decided to turn the car in, he connected me to someone he knew at the VW dealership. When circumstances forced me to go back to fixing the car, he tried to do it at minimal cost, and when that didn't work, you could no one at Action was happy about telling me that I was in fact going to be forced to replace the thermostat too. In between, Cheryl was picking me up and dropping me off at various locations where I was killing time. When I had to spend an extra night in town, she drove me around to show me good places to eat and hear music, and when I had to get a drink, the crew recommended a good place to do that too. When they stayed open late on Friday to finish the work on my car and get it back to me at 9 pm, I tried to bring them dinner or buy them beer, and the response was, "we can't - you've already had to spend too much to fix your car." And even after that, they showed me the broken part so I could understand how it worked.I had car guys I loved in the last place I lived, mostly because I didn't have to worry I was being cheated, which is hard to find, especially if you're female. I feel incredibly lucky that I found these guys because I felt the same way about them. If you have to be 'stranded' someplace with a breakdown, this is a fortunate place, because Action Automotive will treat you right.
Wow, thanks for such a wonderful review! I'm sorry you had the unexpected break down but I was happy we were able to take some of the sting out of it.
