The past four years, I have depended on Action Automotive to repair the exhaust system on my car, replace spark plug wires and spark plugs, replace battery, repair three windows that electrically would not roll up or down and to maintain it as needed. I have appreciated the timely manner in which my car has been repaired and have been thankful to find a repair shop that is friendly and honest. I would recommend Action Automotive to anyone.

2 weeks ago my family (2 adults, 2 crazy dogs, 3 kids ages: 2,5,9yrs) were headed down to the Oregon Dunes towing a trailer with our quad from Vancouver, WA. Our Expedition overheated about 10miles North of Eugene. It was creeping up on 80 degrees out and we were stranded. I read the reviews on Google and found Action Auto had so many positives. My husband immediately called them after the tow truck. Before even hanging up the phone, they had ordered a new radiator and hoses for us. After waiting TWO AND A HALF HOURS for a tow (and THAT tow truck breaking down) we arrived at Action Auto with cold water waiting for us AND our poor pups. They recommended a place to order food close by, let us use their internet to look at the menu and order. They even brought in a table so my kids could eat comfortably and had toys for them to play with. They started working on our vehicle right away. Once they had conformation about how long it would take, they offered to take us to the park to let the kids and dogs run around. It took 2 trips (because there was a gaggle of us) to drive us there and pick us up. Bottom line, they went above and beyond....BY FAR! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Good people. GREAT service!

Honest. I would say that I have received very good service. They are personable, attentive, and polite. They will give pretty accurate price estimates when dropping your car off, and they will not do more than is needed. I think they are honest and respectable and you should feel good dropping your car here for service.

I am relatively new to Eugene and drive a somewhat obscure European car, so it is not that surprising that two different shops could not fix it. But this review is not about them. When I dropped it off at Action and described what it was doing they were upfront with me and said that my problem would need an in-depth look and that likely it would cost a bit to track down the cause. They kept me posted through the whole process which did take some time to complete but now the good part, it is fixed! Not only is it fixed but as it turns out a few other minor issues I had long given up on repairing were related and are now also fixed!! I am so happy I took my car to Action. I like their straight forward honest approach and that they took the time to actually figure out what was going on with it. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a good mechanic.
