Action is a great place to get your car maintained. We've been going here for four years (based on the glowing recommendation of a friend) and have never felt like we were pressured into fixes we didn't need. My husband's car is old and has a lot of things that could be improved, but the people at Action respect our decision to not sink ALL of our money into it and are straight with us about what is actually needed for the car to drive safely.

Professional, prompt, and most importantly, friendly service. These folks had my car done within the same day of drop off. Fair prices, and their receptionist was kind enough to drive me home/pick me up. I highly recommend this shop, and I will return, should I have an automotive issue in the future.

Took my wifes car in a while back for a water leak, and though im not a mechanic myself, in my years i have learned a few things about vehicles, but im a bit too old to be crawling under a car anymore. Water pump was going out, and they quoted a reasonable price for fixing, which was done promptly, and more important, done right. You cannot go wrong taking your vehicle here for repair work. Great people there too!

I stopped by Action Automotive to ask them about a strange sound with my car. One of the technicians promptly took a drive around the block with me, free of charge, to check out the issue. The next week, I took my vehicle in for a proper routine inspection. Craig and the others were friendly, informative, and addressed the concerns I had. Additionally, they charged me a very fair price for the work and were transparent about the work they did. They gave me relevant documentation about the original sound issue, and sent me on my way with peace of mind. Overall, a very professional, friendly, and fair experience from start to finish. I am new to Oregon and the Eugene area, and will definitely be taking my car back to Action Automotive if and when I have any issues! Mark

When I was driving my van from Seattle, got a Check Engine warning light when I was near Eugene. I found this Action Auto in google map and dropped there. Mechanic gave an initial estimate of 60 dollar to check the code. He hooked up his wires to my van. I dont know what he did, but warning light disappeared. He called in about one hour and gave my van back. And he did not charge me anything (totally free of cost, not even the initial estimate for 60 dollar). He could have easily charged 100 dollars plus.
